At age twenty-one, Auburn Reed has already lost everything important to her. In her fight to rebuild her shattered life, she has her goals in sight and there is no room for mistakes. For once, Auburn takes a chance and puts her heart in control, only to discover that Owen is keeping a major secret from coming out. The magnitude of his past threatens to destroy everything important to Auburn, and the only way to get her life back on track is to cut Owen out of it.

To save their relationship, all Owen needs to do is confess. But in this case, the confession could be much more destructive than the actual sin.

I've just finished reading 3 books by Colleen Hoover, back to back, and hands down ..this is my favorite book among the 3. Thumbs up for the originality of the concept, I loved it. Thumbs up for the character development, I felt for them. Thumbs up for weaving together real peoples confessions in this story, I was amazed by them!!

A few things I didn't like about this book, but the originality and the way it engaged me makes up for it.

The paintings in this book were beautiful, I'm sure you'll like them too. Check them out, I've put them below. This book doesn't really have any sexual content, so its safe for the YA readers to read it. If you've never read Colleen Hoover's book, I think it's time you should.

***Spoilers*** Highlight to read (Read only if you've read the book)
-Auburn should've understood that the 'hands' were painted by OMG by the style of the painting.
-Owen should've told her the truth right after he got arrested.
-Auburn should've called the police when Trey tried to force himself on her at her place after finding her confession on Owen's pillow.
***Spoiler complete***

Check out the paintings guys, aren't they lovely?
